for the shrug part of clean pulls: “bring your shoulders up to your ears like you’re trying to use them for earmuffs.” prior to that, i had no idea where my shoulders were going, heh.

  2. Julia R says:

Lose the grains! Even being non-strict paleo (I still eat some dairy, dark chocolate, and cheat occasionally), I already lost 3% body fat, at least one pant size, and am on my way to a six pack :)
I really recommend transforming your nutrition…it’s not as hard as you think, and honestly, those burgers taste much better without the bun (especially topped with some nitrate-free, uncured bacon goodness)

Oh, and Wil’s: it’s all in your head…and there’s no such thing as “can’t” (thanks for the burpees )

  3. Chris D says:

double unders-swing the rope twice as fast as you are jumping with your wrists near your hips. Sometimes it takes very simple advice to make things click!

  4. Chris says:

Wil- “Chris…just shut up and lift heavy weight, that’s what you do best”

Eric- “Get rid of those training shoes!”

Pete Nerd - ” Just shut the **** up and do the muscle up!”…i did my first muscle up right after he scolded me haha

  5. Catlyn says:

The best advice Pete Nerd gave me was “to quit ****ing thinking about it and just lift the weight!” It’s true, sometimes you just need to DO it and not think too much about it.

  6. Eric says:

Sigh…and you have yet to get rid of the “training shoes” (aka foot pillows).

  7. Ashley F says:

I was struggling with hand stands (trying to kick my legs up with my hands on the ground) and Kate suggested doing it in one movement, from standing to kicking up, it gave a lot more momentum and made a huge difference!
