Kate has one of the more impressive athletic resumes of any trainer at Fearless Athletics. A multi-year member of the USA National Women’s Rugby team, she represented her country on the international playing field from 2003 – 2007. She brought her passion for the sport to the University of Pennsylvania as the coach of the Women’s Rugby Club from 2004-2006. And yes, she once tackled her sister when the two met in a match. Her parents still talk about it to this day.

An extremely technical and encouraging trainer, Kate has mastered the art of the verbal cue, giving insightful tips and advice to everyone who takes her class. Her favorite WOD is “Diane” (21-15-9 of deadlifts and handstand push-ups) and her least favorite is “Murph” (1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, 1 mile run). She can move a barbell with the best of ‘em but cringes when double-unders appear in a WOD (but she learned how to string them together—finally).

A graduate of Smith College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, she spends free time hanging with her wife, relaxing with friends, and planning epic women’s-only events at Fearless Athletics.
